O meu bolo favorito em fotos | My favorite cake in photos

Ingredients: 450gr brown sugar; 250gr margarine; 600gr flour; 3dl milk; 6 teaspoons of baking powder; a handful of hazelnuts; 9 teaspoons of Port Wine; 3 teaspoons of cinnamon.
Ralar as avelãs. Grate the hazelnuts.
Derreter a margarina, adicionar o açúcar e juntar bem.
Melt the margarine, add the sugar and mix it well.
Adicionar os ovos. Add the eggs.
De seguida, adicionar a farinha. Add the flor then.
Logo a seguir, o fermento e a canela. Soon after, the baking powder and cinnamon.
Verter o leite. Pour the milk.
Misturar o Vinho do Porto. Pour the Port Wine.
Por fim, adicionar a avelã ralada e misturar bem.
Finally, add the grated hazelnuts and mix it well.

Bake at 200 degrees until fully cooked. (I reckon about 50min, but it can vary from oven to oven; there are no cross-cut recipes.)
O aspecto é tosco. Mas o sabor? Delicioso.
It looks rough. But the taste? Delicious. Do not tell anyone the name until the cake is tasted, because it will be immediately approved. The name says little of what it is: Rotten Cake.

Os meus biscoitos favoritos de sempre | My all time favourite biscuits

Desfrutem!

Do que vais precisar:

200g de margarina
3 colheres de corante
2 gemas de ovo
1 lata de leite condensado
500g de farinha
3 colheres de açúcar
1 colher de café de fermento em pó
farinha q.b. (para polvilhar)

Como fazer:

- Leva a margarina a derreter no microondas (aproximadamente 1 minuto). De seguida adiciona o corante à escolha e mistura bem. Junta as gemas e o açúcar.

Are you familiar with those Sundays of pure indolence, when the world can be taking the course it wants, but we're sitting on the sofa recalling that song that sings exactly it, in this or in the other version? Don’t you feel a voracious appetite? Please say yes so I don’t feel strangely different. I feel it. I feel the need to eat, period. It could be worse, but that’s it. And indolence doesn’t affect me in this area, because when it comes to my appetite, I like to pamper it with my own hands. So I get off the couch to get my hands literally dirty.

And just because I really like the results (not so much the DIY process), I’m pleased to share this recipe here. It's not my recipe, nor have I inherited it from my grandmother; but it is my version and interpretation of several cookie recipes I found on random searches.

Enjoy it!

What you’ll need:
200g margarine
3 spoons with food colouring
2 egg yolks
3 spoons of sugar
1 tin of canned milk
500g flour
1 coffee spoon of baking powder
sufficiently flour (to sprinkle)

How you do it:
- Put the margarine in the microwave to melt (throughout approximately 1 minute). Then add the food colouring you chose and mix it well. Add the yolks and the sugar. While you stir up, join the condensed milk. Lastly add the baking powder, and then the flour.
- Sprinkle flour on a countertop previously disinfected. With the help of a dough rolling, extend the dough to a height of approximately 0,2 inches. Cut the dough in different shapes, and display the biscuits on a tray. Repeat the process until the dough is finished. Put the biscuits in a pre-heated oven.
- Bake at 356 degrees F for 10 to 15 minutes.
